TAG, QTMagazine form on-line partnership

BOSTON -- The Travel Alternatives Group (TAG) and QTMagazine.com are working together to provide travel information to gay and lesbian communities.

Visitors to QTmagazine.com can now locate a gay or gay-friendly TAG member travel agent in their area through a link on QT's search page.

Publisher Serge Gojkovich said that as QTMagazine fills the on-line role of offering gay and lesbian travel information via the Internet, working with TAG is a natural fit.

The QT Web site also will be present at TAG's eighth International Gay & Lesbian World Travel Expo in New York on April 6 and in San Francisco in October.

TAG president Thomas Roth said that by offering its directories and resources through QTMagazine.com, his company would receive added exposure for its services.

Launched last October, QTMagazine.com publishes up-to-date gay and lesbian travel information interactively through features such as articles, message boards and related links.

The topics covered by the site include travel destinations, cruises, shopping, fashion and health.

Recently, the site introduced QTProfile, travel interviews with gay or gay-friendly personalities, into its Lifestyle section.

The most recent subjects include Mark Elderkin and Jeff Bennett, founders of www.gay.com.
