TCS Expeditions plans pair of South America tours

SEATTLE -- TCS Expeditions will offer two tour options in January and February that feature travel aboard a private jet circling South America.

The 21-day trips, aboard a specially fitted, all first class Boeing 757 accommodating 88 passengers, will offer a far-ranging look at Latin America's archaeology, cultures and natural history under the guidance of an accompanying team of wildlife and ancient-history experts.

The expeditions begin with a stay at the Ariau Jungle Tower Hotel in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon rain forest. The itineraries also include a visit to Iguacu Falls in Brazil and the Andean resort town of San Carlos de Bariloche in the Argentine Lake District.

Travelers will take in the flora and fauna of the Galapagos Islands as well as the landscapes and wildlife of the Falkland Islands. Included in the itineraries are the Inca ruins of Machu Picchu in Peru as well as the ancient Maya ruins of Tikal in Guatemala. The expeditions are priced at $27,950 per person, double, including all transportation, hotels, special events, excursions and most meals.
