Temptress to launch new routes on revamped Voyager

MIAMI -- Temptress Adventure Cruises launches its 1999/ 2000 season with a new itinerary and sailing options for the millennium.

Following a complete refurbishment, the 70-passenger Temptress Voyager will return from Belize to begin Costa Rica and Panama itineraries of three, four and seven nights.

The new routing, effective Oct. 30, includes Curu/Tortuga Island, Corcovado National Park/San Josecito, Golfo Dulce, Drake Bay and Manuel Antonio National Park in Costa Rica, as well as Coiba Island in Panama.

Prices for the three-night cruise will range from $830 to $1,045; fares for the four-night cruise will range from $1,070 and $1,355, and rates for the seven-night cruise will range from $1,695 to $2,195.

Both the Temptress Voyager and the 100-passenger Temptress Explorer will offer special departures for the millennium on 10-day cruises that make the Panama Canal crossing.

This New Year's, the Panama Canal will be given back to Panama by the U.S. in a celebration fit for the turn of the millennium, and Temptress Cruises will arrive just in time for the party.

Air is available for departures on Dec. 26 and 27, with prices starting at $3,625 and $3,925 for the respective sailings.
