Tourists in Ariz. Rescued From Flood

SUPAI VILLAGE, Ariz. -- Hundreds of tourists and residents of this small village near the Grand Canyon were rescued by helicopter Sunday and Monday after heavy rains caused flash flooding.

All of the tourists, who were on hand for the Havasupai Indian Tribe's annual Peach Festival, safely were evacuated, and no serious injuries or fatalities were reported, according to officials in Supai.
