NEW YORK -- Tradesco Tours created its 1997 Poland itineraries
to meet the needs of various travelers.
Clients interested in an independent package in one or both of
Poland's best-known cities, Warsaw and Krakow, could opt for one of
the Great Cities of Poland programs.
A Warsaw city package, for example, is priced from $131 per
person, double, for two nights' accommodations, daily breakfasts, a
city tour, taxes and service charges.
An identical Krakow city plan is priced from $108.
The prices are in effect through Oct. 31.
A variety of additional sightseeing, rail and car rental
packages also are available.
For clients preferring to visit Poland on an escorted tour, the
six-night Scenic Poland takes in the standard stops: Warsaw, Krakow
Participants also will visit Czestochowa, Auschwitz and the
Wieliczka Salt Mine. Accommodations in Warsaw are at the Hotel
Forum and in Krakow at the Continental.
The land-only price is $789 per person, double, and includes
accommodations, some meals, sightseeing, admission to attractions,
a Chopin concert, tour guide, tax and transfers. Plans including
air from the U.S. are available.
Departure dates are slated from May through September.
Travelers who want to combine Poland with visits to the Czech
