Travcoa launches plan to Germany, Czech Republic

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. -Travcoa created a 17-day escorted land/cruise program to Germany and the Czech Republic this year at a land cost of $7,595 per person, double.

Departures, limited to 24 persons each, are scheduled for May 23, June 20, July 18, and Sept. 12 and 26.

Called Historical Treasures with Elbe River Cruise, the tour begins in Prague with three nights at the Inter-Continental Hotel.

The stay includes a welcome dinner; a night at the opera or ballet, with dinner; a city walking tour, and a day trip to Konopiste Castle.

The program continues overland into Germany for a two-night stay in Dresden, with visits to the Zwinger and other museums and a performance at the Semper Opera House.

The seven-night Elbe cruise through eastern Germany includes shore excursions to Wittenberg, Leipzig, Dessau, Meissen, the fortress of Konigstein and the Moritzburg hunting lodge near Halle.
