Travel South wins grant

WASHINGTON -- The Commerce Department awarded Travel South, a marketing group representing 12 states, a three-year grant totaling $400,000 to help it promote U.S tourism to travelers in Brazil.

The department said Travel South will use the award to develop a Brazil marketing campaign encompassing research on the Brazil travel market, familiarization trips, sales missions and travel agent training programs.
