Travel Weekly's Caribbean E-Letter: December 26, 2002

SANTA'S GIFT from SuperClubs to agents who book three three-night packages to Breezes Bahamas in Nassau for travel between Jan. 1 and Feb. 28 is a three-night complimentary stay for agents. "We received tremendous support from agents this past year and we want to show our commitment to our partners," said John Issa, SuperClubs' executive chairman. Packages pay 13% commission; daily inclusive rates for the three-night plan start at $200 per person, double, which represents a 40% discount off rack rates. Book at www.superclubs.com.

ALL MEMBERS of the Caribbean Hotel Association are eligible to list their room inventories and rates at www.gocaribbean.com, the official Web site of the Caribbean Hotel Association Charitable Trust (CHACT), a conglomeration of airlines, hotels, credit card companies and hotel associations. CHACT markets the Caribbean as a single destination under the theme "Life Needs the Caribbean." The decision by CHACT officials to widen the Web site's access to include all CHA members was done "to drive more business to the Caribbean in 2003," according to Ralph Taylor, chairman.
