THE FAIRMONT KEA LANI, located in the Wailea Resort area of Maui, is giving guests a reason to see why Maui is often referred to as the "adventure isle." Through Dec. 18, guests can book a one-bedroom suite and receive an Avis rental car with unlimited miles for $380 per night. The "Suite Ride" package encourages guest to explore areas like the secluded coves and lava fields on Makena Beach, the shopping, restaurants and art galleries in the historic whaling town of Lahaina, or the "upcountry" area of Paia, Haiku and Makawao, which are all located on the slopes of Mount Haleakala.

RUNAWAY TOURS is offering six-day/five-night packages geared toward luxury travelers, with an option for each island. The packages are priced per person, based on double occupancy and include car rental or transfers, and airfare from LAX or SFO. In Oahu, travelers can opt to stay in a partial oceanview room at the Alii Tower in the Hilton Hawaiian Village for $1,279 with a $50 food and beverage credit. Also, the Turtle Bay Resort is offering deluxe oceanview rooms and daily breakfast for $1,059. Those heading to Maui can stay at the Kapalua Bay Hotel in a partial oceanview room for $1,256, which includes daily breakfast for two. Next door, the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua starts at $1,212, with breakfast. The Hyatt Regency Kauai Resort starts at $1,416 and on the Big Island travelers will enjoy a golf course-view room at the Hilton Waikoloa Village for $1,343, including breakfast.

THE RADISSON KAUAI BEACH RESORT unveiled its 2004 package lineup, geared toward adventure seekers and honeymooners. The "Bed and Breakfast in Paradise" package includes breakfast for two in the hotel's Naupaka Terrace restaurant. Based on double occupancy and starting July 1, prices range from $169 to $219, depending on room category. A "Honeymoon Spa" package gives honeymooners a bottle of champagne upon arrival, a $25 daily meal credit, two 30-minute massages and a fifth night free. Rooms range from $249 to $269 per night. Lastly, the "Kauai on Wheels" package provides a rental car with unlimited miles for the length of stay and daily breakfast buffet for two at Naupaka Terrace. Prices range from $199 to 229 per night. All packages are valid for travel through Dec. 20 and include airport transfers.

DOWN UNDER ANSWERS is making it easier for those already on the Hawaiian Islands to visit Australia, with the introduction of a new package that takes advantage of Hawaiian Airlines new, nonstop flight between Honolulu and Sydney. The five-night basic package includes roundtrip airfare and accommodations at either the Oakford City West hotel or the Russell Hotel, and costs $1,099 per person. Travel must be booked before July 2. Flights depart Honolulu four days a week, and leave at 1:30 p.m., arriving in Sydney at 7:30 p.m., Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Four and five-star hotels are available with the package, and pricing varies.
