DELTA AIR LINES is boosting its service between Atlanta and Cancun. Effective April 4, Delta will expand its Saturday-only flight to seven days a week. With the schedule change, Delta and its code-share partner, Aeromexico, will offer a total of three daily flights between Delta's Atlanta hub and Cancun. "Cancun's popularity as a leisure destination is continually growing, and we're expanding our service to meet that growing demand," said Subodh Karnik, Delta's senior vice president of network and revenue management.

CITING DEMAND TO LOS CABOS from the Denver area, SunTrips said it will launch weekly service between the two cities starting Feb. 10. The new program, which will run Feb. 10 to June 29 and Nov. 23 to Dec. 14, will offer Tuesday departures on seven-night packages. Packages will include roundtrip air fare, airport transfers and accommodations starting at $529 per person, double. Air-only rates start at $279. MARRIOTT AND JW MARRIOTT resorts in Mexico are participating in the hotel company's Under the Marriott Sun program, under which guests will receive a $100 room credit that they can apply towards hotel expenses such as meals, spa services, scuba diving lessons and golf clinics, among other things. PALACE RESORTS, which operates six all-inclusive resorts in Mexico and St. Thomas, is extending its travel agent bonus commission program through 2004. The bonus program applies to bookings of at least three nights at any Palace Resort property in Cancun and the Riviera Maya in Mexico, and at the Grand Beach Palace in St. Thomas. For each stay of three nights or longer, travel agents receive a $50 bonus per room. For every 10th room booked, travel agents receive an additional $250 bonus commission.
