Trolley Shuttle For Hilo Hattie

HONOLULU -- Hilo Hattie, a Hawaiian fashions and products company, introduced a fleet of trolleys to replace buses and vans used to shuttle visitors between Waikiki to its outlet near downtown Honolulu.

The 58-seat trolleys in Hilo Hattie colors are operated for the company by Roberts Hawaii, a transportation and travel company.

The free shuttle operates every 30 minutes from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily, stopping at nine Waikiki hotel locations.

Shuttle pick-ups can be arranged for groups, and one of the four trolleys is wheelchair accessible.

The company continues to be a partner in a shuttle operated between three retail attractions -- Aloha Tower Marketplace, Hilo Hattie and Dole Cannery.

The free shuttle, using marketplace trolleys, operates every 20 minutes, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on a marketplace-Hilo Hattie-Dole Cannery-Hilo Hattie-marketplace route.

Hilo Hattie, with stores on all four major islands, is the state's largest manufacturer of resort apparel.

It offers travel agents a 20% discount off merchandise (except items on sale and food products).
