HONOLULU -- Hilo Hattie, a Hawaiian fashions and products
company, introduced a fleet of trolleys to replace buses and vans
used to shuttle visitors between Waikiki to its outlet near
The 58-seat trolleys in Hilo Hattie colors are operated for the
company by Roberts Hawaii, a transportation and travel company.
The free shuttle operates every 30 minutes from 8:30 a.m. to
3:30 p.m. daily, stopping at nine Waikiki hotel locations.
Shuttle pick-ups can be arranged for groups, and one of the four
trolleys is wheelchair accessible.
The company continues to be a partner in a shuttle operated
between three retail attractions -- Aloha Tower Marketplace, Hilo
Hattie and Dole Cannery.
The free shuttle, using marketplace trolleys, operates every 20
minutes, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on a marketplace-Hilo Hattie-Dole
Cannery-Hilo Hattie-marketplace route.
Hilo Hattie, with stores on all four major islands, is the
state's largest manufacturer of resort apparel.
It offers travel agents a 20% discount off merchandise (except
items on sale and food products).
