Turner Resigns From Circus Circus

LAS VEGAS -- Clyde Turner resigned as chairman, chief executive officer and a director of Circus Circus Enterprises, Inc.

Circus Circus vice chairman and chief operating officer Michael Ensign, also a founding partner of Gold Strike Resorts, which merged with Circus Circus in 1995, will succeed Turner as the company's chairman and chief executive officer. Ensign also will retain the title of chief operating officer.
