USVI names interim tourism chief

Monique Sibilly-Hodge was named interim head of tourism for the U.S. Virgin Islands. She is the former deputy commissioner of tourism under Charles Turnbull, the former governor who stepped down from that post Dec. 30.

Gov. John deJongh Jr., who was sworn into office Jan. 1, chose a number of interim department heads, all of whom held positions in the Turnbull administration. Those named will serve until a permanent department head is named, according to deJongh.
