Universal Orlando offers four plans

ORLANDO -- Universal Orlando Resorts introduced four vacation packages that use two Loews-managed on-site hotels -- the 750-room Portofino Bay and the 650-room Hard Rock.

Meanwhile, a third Loews property, the 1,000-room Royal Pacific Resort, will offer packages in July 2002 when it opens.

Highlights of packages, at either the Portofino Bay or the Hard Rock, follow:

  • Ultimate Adventure, two nights, from $329 per person, double, for persons 18 years of age and older; $135 for those ages 10 to 17, and $105 for children ages 3 to 9.
  • Covered are accommodations, unlimited admission to Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios for the duration of the stay, a CityWalk Party Pass, a movie pass to the Universal Cineplex, priority admission to theme park rides and one lunch or dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe or another dining venue, including tax and a child's souvenir.

  • Ultimate Couples Getaway, two nights, from $389 per couple.
  • Included are a room, unlimited admission to both Universal parks for the length of stay; a CityWalk Party Pass, a Cineplex movie pass; early park admission on selected days; priority access to park attractions, and one lunch or dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe Orlando or another dining venue.

    Also featured are one lunch or one dinner at a choice of four restaurants, including Lombard's Landing at the Universal Studios theme park.

  • VIP package, three nights, priced from $719 for adults 18 years of age and older; $405 for children ages 10 to 17, and $355 for kids ages 3 to 9.
  • The plan includes accommodations, unlimited admission to both parks for the length of stay; five-hour, escorted VIP tours of each park with priority admission to rides and preferred seating; CityWalk Party Pass, a Cineplex movie pass; selected luncheons or dinners at a variety of Universal restaurants; souvenir photos, and a child's gift.

  • Ultimate Sun 'n' Fun, five nights, from $605 for guests ages 18 and older; $145 for those 10 to 17, and $115 for children ages 3 to 9.
  • Included are three nights at one of the Loews hotels and two at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort in Clearwater Beach; unlimited admission to the Universal parks for the length of stay; CityWalk Party Pass; a Cineplex movie pass; early park admission on selected days; priority admission to rides; one lunch or dinner at the Hard Rock cafe or another restaurant, and a child's gift.
