Updated: Israel establishes info hotline during hostilities

The Israel Ministry of Tourism set up a hotline and a special section of its Web site to provide current information about travel to Israel during the violence in Lebanon and the north of Israel.  

The Web site is www.goisrael.com.

The hotline is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and the service is available in English, French, Hebrew and other languages. Callers can get information on flights, hotels, group tours and travel within Israel.

From the U.S., the hotline is accessible by dialing (011) 972-3 520-7600. Questions can be faxed to (011) 972-3 520-7612/5 or e-mailed to [email protected].
