Vegas resorts take the wrinkle out of things

LAS VEGAS -- Wrinkle-free Palms? Apparently, Botox parties are all the rage at the Palms Casino Resort's spa.

Botox injections (a purified strain of the toxin that causes botulism) is administered by a plastic surgeon and smooths wrinkles by temporarily paralyzing the muscles in the area being treated.

The wrinkle-free look only lasts about three months. How's that for ensuring repeat business?

And just in time for wrinkle-free guests, the Palms was set to unveil a Skin Pool Lounge on May 17 that encourages "aquatic voyeurism," among other things.

Some of the lounge's features are an "elevated pool with portholes where mermaids swim after dark" and a "fiber-optically lighted water salon."

At night the lounge becomes a nightclub and concert venue complete with "Plexiglas dance platforms with aqua go-go girls emerging from the depths."

Sort of makes Cirque du Soleil's "O" show seem a little watered down.
