SAN FRANCISCO -- World Explorer Cruises is offering agents a new
video, "The Uncommon Route," designed to give their clients a sense
of what Alaska is all about.
The 31-minute video, tracing the route taken by the company's
Universe Explorer in its 14-day cruise, focuses on the natural
beauty of Alaska and on the ship's onboard lecturers and its shore
Footage of World Explorer passengers at play on the White Pass
& Yukon Railroad, gold-panning in Juneau and white-water
rafting near Valdez are among the highlights.
Other features include flightseeing over the ice fields, bald
eagles, humpback whales' songs and a glimpse into the lives and
cultures of the Tlingit and other Indian people who inhabit the
