Viva Resorts launches incentives for agents, clients

MIAMI -- Viva Resorts rolled out incentives for clients and travel agents.

For clients, Viva Resorts reduced the rates on its inclusive packages by 15% through June.

Rates at Club Viva Maya in Playacar, Mexico, start at $102 per night, while rates at Club Viva Azteca in Playacar start at $106 per night. Rates at Club Viva Vallarta in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, start at $85 per night. Rates are based on double occupancy.

For agents, Viva Resorts is paying 12% commission on all reservations made through the company's toll-free reservation number or via its Web site.

In addition, the company is offering agents a 50% discount on rack rates through Dec. 23 at any of the its Mexico properties.

Discounted agent rates range from $40 to $90 per person, per night, depending on time of travel and resort choice. Companions can accompany the agent at the same discounted rate when sharing the same accommodations.

Agents must present a valid International Airlines Travel Agency Network card or Cruise Lines International Association membership identification upon check-in and are required to participate in one guided site inspection during their visit.

Additionally, children under age 12 are invited to stay, play and eat for free when sharing a room with two paying adults (a maximum of two children per room).

A Viva Resorts vacation package includes accommodations, all meals and beverages, daily activities and fitness programs, unlimited nonmotorized watersports with lessons, enrollment in the Viva Kid's Club and taxes, surcharges and gratuities.
