Viva Resorts reduces rates

MIAMI -- Viva Resorts reduced nightly rates by up to 30% at its six inclusive resorts in the Caribbean and Mexico.

The discount is available through Dec. 23, except at the Club Viva Fortuna.

Rates are per person, per night.

  • In the Caribbean, the 276-room Club Viva Fortuna on Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas, is offering rates from $89 through Dec. 20.
  • The firm also has two properties in the Dominican Republic.

    At the 530-room Club Viva Dominicus, rates start at $77; at the Club Viva Dominicus Palace, containing 330 rooms, rates are from $85.

  • In Mexico, the 400-room Club Viva Maya in Playa del Carmen is offering rates from $85.
  • At the 230-room Club Viva Azteca, also in Playa del Carmen, discounted prices are from $95.

    At the 355-room Club Viva Vallarta in Puerto Vallarta, rates are from $80.

    There is no additional charge for children under the age of 12 sharing accommodations with two adults. There is a maximum of two children per room.

    Each Viva Resorts property offers excursion options, such as island explorations, along with a Viva Diving Undersea Adventures Center, which features a full selection of PADI and SSI diving courses.

    The company also offers a complete wedding package and a honeymoon package for couples staying a minimum of three nights at any of the properties.
