Viva greets fall with 'Falling Prices'

MIAMI -- Viva Resorts rolled out a Falling Prices promotion for autumn holidays at its six Caribbean-area, all-inclusive resorts, among them the Viva Fortuna Beach property on Grand Bahama Island.

The Falling Prices program features savings of as much as $40 per couple, per night, on normal rack rates, for travel Sept. 1 to Dec. 23.

Prices now run $90 per night, down from $110, at Viva Fortuna Beach, which will be rebranded the Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach in December.

In addition to the discount, families also enjoy Viva's year-round Kids Stay, Play & Eat Free program, which allows up to two children age 12 and younger to stay free when sharing a guest room with two paying adults.

Viva's vacation package features hotel accommodations; all meals, including selections from a low-fat menu; unlimited beverages, including cocktails and wine; snacks; tea time; daily activities and fitness programs; unlimited nonmotorized water sports; enrollment in the Viva Kid's Club; and fruit and drink service on the beach and at the pool.

Also covered are live nightly entertainment; dance lessons; yoga and mediation classes; cooking and cocktail preparation lessons; and all taxes, surcharges and gratuities.

In addition, guests enjoy the Bon Vivant program, which includes a welcome package; preferential check-in/checkout; late checkout, upon availability; preferential reservations at specialty restaurants; daily turndown services; cold-towel service upon arrival; unlimited use of a minibar stocked with beer, soft drinks and water; a bottle of wine and fruit basket upon arrival; an in-room coffeemaker; and in-room upgrade amenities.

Viva is paying retailers 12% commission on all bookings through Dec. 23 plus a $10 bonus per booking for stays of four nights or more.
