Volcano Victims Can Go Home

OLD TOWNE, Montserrat -- The Montserrat government permitted residents to return to Salem, a town on the west coast of the island that was evacuated a year ago due to eruptions of the Soufriere Hills Volcano. The volcano, which rumbled to life in July 1995, has had no new lava spews since March 3.
