Westin Maui gets $4M spa and a new name


he Westin Maui in Kaanapali Beach opened its $4 million spa and changed the property's name to the Westin Maui Resort and Spa.

The 13,000-square-foot Spa at Westin Maui features 16 treatment rooms and a fitness center with a yoga studio. In addition to regular services, the accompanying salon offers hair-braiding and bridal-party preparation.

The spa provides treatments using ingredients from Maui Kula Lavender Farm.

Massages in oceanview cabanas and poolside manicures, pedicures and hair-braiding continue to be available.
