Windstar unveils air-inclusive deal

SEATTLE -- Windstar Cruises is luring clients to the Caribbean this winter with two itineraries in December aboard the Wind Surf.

Cruise-only fares start at $1,695 per person including port taxes and charges.

But for clients looking for a better bargain, an inclusive package offers 50% off the normal rate, free round-trip air fare from 35 cities and all transfers and taxes.

The inclusive rate, available for both sailings is $2,103 per person.

On Dec. 2 and 9, the 308-passenger Wind Surf will sail on a seven-day itinerary roundtrip from Bridgetown, Barbados.

The Dec. 2 cruise will include port calls at Nevis, St. Martin, St. Barts, Iles des Saintes and Pigeon Island, St. Lucia.

The Dec. 9 sailing will make visits to Tobago; Bequia, St. Pierre and Fort-de-France, Martinique; Pigeon Island, St. Lucia, and Mayreau, Grenadines.

On the inclusive plan, free air fare is available from 35 U.S. and Canadian cities: Atlanta; Baltimore; Boston; Chicago; Cincinnati; Cleveland; Dallas; Denver; Detroit; Houston; Kansas City, Mo.; Los Angeles; Miami; Minneapolis; New Orleans; New York; Oklahoma City; Orlando; Philadelphia; Phoenix; Pittsburgh; Portland, Ore.; Salt Lake City; San Diego; San Francisco; Seattle; St. Louis; Tampa, Fla.; Tucson, Ariz.; Washington, Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta; Montreal; Toronto, and Vancouver.
