CHICAGO -- Several city hotels are offering special deals for
The Hotel Inter-Continental is marketing a weekend package in
conjunction with this city's annual jazz festival, scheduled for
Sept. 3 to 5.
The hotel's Jazz Fest Weekend rate of $165 per night, double,
includes parking; a picnic basket with fruit, cheese and wine to
take to the festival, and a jazz CD featuring Judy Roberts. Hotel
tax is extra. The package is available Sept. 2 to 5.
The Inter-Continental also is offering a Cow package that takes
in the city's "Cows on Parade" exhibit and a Cultural package that
includes admission to several of the Windy City's museums.
The Cow package costs $189 a night through Oct. 31 and includes
a disposable camera to snap pictures of the fiberglass cows
scattered throughout the city as part of the Cows on Parade
exhibit. The Cultural package costs $289 a night.
Hotel Inter-Continental ChicagoThe Regal Knickerbocker Hotel offers a package for blues
lovers. The Best of the Blues package includes admission for two to
a local blues club, breakfast and two Blues Sapphire Martinis in
the hotel's bar.

Regal Knickerbocker HotelThe Rosemont Suites offers a Park, Stay and Fly package that
includes free parking at the hotel for a week. Guests can spend the
night in a two-room suite and leave their cars parked in an
adjacent covered garage for up to seven nights.

The package also includes breakfast, a copy of a USA Today
newspaper, a cocktail reception and transportation to and from the
airport. The O'Hare Airport shuttle offered by the hotel runs every
20 minutes from 4 a.m. to midnight.
The package costs $189 per night, Sundays to Thursdays and $149
for a Friday or Saturday stay.
