We keep having epiphanies about the ExpressJet tarmac incident. Here are two more, phrased as questions.
• Murphy's Law states that if something can go wrong, it will, and usually at the worst possible time. In this case, however, everything went wrong. What law is that?
• It is clear from listening to the recordings of the cockpit conversations that none of the people who were dealing with this incident had the training, the tools, the information or the authority to make good decisions and bring about the best possible outcome.
