Hard Rock International is gearing up to open the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza in Spain in May, marking the brand’s first foray into Europe.

The Palladium Hotel Group will transform two former Fiesta Hotels, Club Don Toni and Hotel Don Toni, into the 480-room hotel, linking the two buildings with a revamped lobby, dining and entertainment outlets and shops.

Live and DJ music will be on tap at the outdoor pool stage, and other features will include a spa, kids’ club and beach as well as private pools at select suites.

The property will be closed during the renovation; Hard Rock did not disclose the cost of the refit.

“This project is a natural alignment of interests for Hard Rock, as Palladium recently opened the Hard Rock Cafe in Ibiza,” said Josh Littman, director of development for Europe, the Middle East and Africa for Hard Rock International.
