Gault & Millau guide recently published a new edition focusing for the first time on the best restaurants in Luxembourg.

The “A Taste of Luxembourg" 2016 guide contains a selection of 75 noteworthy restaurants, and named Fabrice Salvador, chef of La Cristallerie, as 2016 chef of the year.

Also acknowledging fine dining in the destination, the 2016 edition of the Michelin guide lists two new star restaurants in Luxembourg: Renato Favaro in Esch-sur-Alzette and Guillou Campagne in Schouweiler.

In all, Michelin reviewed 72 restaurants in the destination and gave out 11 stars and 15 Bib Gourmands, awarded to restaurants that offer excellent dining for $40 or less.
