Monteverdi Tuscany, a boutique hotel in the Unesco World Heritage Site of Val d'Orcia, unveiled a new Meeting & Retreat Center.

Located in a 15th-century former parish house, one of the oldest buildings in Castiglioncello del Trinoro, the Meeting & Retreat Center features a private meetings room for eight to 10 people, two flexible spaces for larger groups and an arena with amphitheater tiered seating and direct access to the property's Culinary Academy and garden.

The project was spearheaded by Ilaria Miani, a Rome-based interior designer, and blends ancient and modern design elements. Many of the building's original structures, including wooden ceiling beams and hand-laid stone walls, have been restored. And the spaces use handcrafted furniture from local artisans and cocciopesto floors built with ancient techniques.

Accommodations at the property include four guestrooms, seven suites and three private villas.
