Be a 'Turtle Researcher for a Day' at BVI resort

Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina in the British Virgin Islands has partnered with on-island dive shop Dive BVI, the Association of Reef Keepers and the Conservation & Fisheries Departments for a Turtle Researcher for a Day program. The half- and full-day experiences include instruction on how to safely catch a turtle and take measurements before it is tagged and released.

The half-day program is priced from $3,000 and the full-day program at $4,800 for six guests. The program includes gift bags, a flash drive with photos from the day, snacks and snorkeling gear. The full-day program also includes lunch and soft drinks at a nearby restaurant.

Nightly rates, which are commissionable, start at $435 per room and $1,400 per villa. The turtle research program is not commissionable.
