Honolulu's Kahala Hotel & Resort designs 'Kahala Waterman' package

The Kahala Hotel & Resort in Honolulu is honoring the traditions and legacy of the ancient Polynesians who crossed the Pacific Ocean and settled in Hawaii with the Kahala Waterman package, valid through Dec. 19. The package is priced from $495 per night, double, with buffet breakfast at the hotel's Plumeria Beach House; there is a five-night minimum stay required. The cost includes a package from the hotel's Hans Hedemann Surf School, which includes one of four group activities for two adults: 90-minute surf lessons, 90-minute standup paddleboard lessons, 60-minute outrigger canoe rides and 60-minute pole fishing lessons; a Waterman certificate and T-shirt upon completion of all four activities; two pairs of sunglasses from the Kahala Boutique; and a 20% discount at the hotel's Tori Richards Hawaiian clothing store.
