New York's Emerson Resort & Spa debuts fall offerings

The Emerson Resort & Spa, in Mount Tremper in New York's Catskill Mountains, has created packages to take in the fall foliage.



Hike the Catskills, valid through Nov. 30, is priced from $433, double, for a two-night stay and includes a guided, on-site nature walk and an Explorer Amusement amenity, which includes an Emerson logo backpack, T-shirt, water bottle, area trails map and homemade granola bars.

The two-night, midweek Bike & Brews plan, valid through Oct. 31, is priced from $428, double, and includes a welcome amenity with two local craft beers, a guide to the biking trails of Ulster County and use of the Emerson's fleet of Huffy Cruiser bikes.

A midweek, three-night art workshop is available from Sept. 24 to Oct. 15, priced from $907 per room, double. The cost covers a workshop with Woodstock, N.Y.-based painter Mary Anna Goetz focused on landscape painting as well as art supplies and a talk on the history of the region's art and a guided, on-property nature walk with the Emerson activities coordinator.

The hotel also is offering the midweek Leaf Peeping Getaway from Sept. 17 to Oct. 26, which offers a third night free and a $100 spa credit. Rates start at $595 per room, double.
