Oahu's Turtle Bay Resort renovates in run-up to Vans surfing event

In time for the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing competition held annually in November and December, the Turtle Bay Resort on Oahu's North Shore is putting the final touches on a multimillion-dollar renovation on its Epic guestrooms and is offering three plans to celebrate. The Epic Vans Triple Crown package is priced from $525 per night, double, and includes transportation to the competition and events; daily breakfast at the North Shore Kula Grille; a $500 credit for any resort activity, including surf lessons from the on-site Hans Hedemann Surf Center; and a $50 gift card to the resort's Oakley at Turtle Bay or the WaterShed shops. A five-night minimum stay is required. For shorter stays, the Fans of Vans plan is priced from $488 per night, double, and includes breakfast for two daily and a $300 resort credit. A three-night minimum stay is required. The room-only Friends of Vans plan is available with rates starting at $250 per night, double. All rates are valid for the duration of the 2013 Vans Triple Crown of Surfing; dates are Nov. 12 to 23 for the Reef Hawaiian Pro, Nov. 24 to Dec. 6 for the Vans World Cup and Dec. 8 to 20 for the Billabong Pipe Masters.
