Relief Riders International debuts motorcycle journeys across India

Humanitarian adventure travel company Relief Riders International has added the Royal Enfield Desert Relief Ride, its first motorcycle program in India, to its India itineraries for 2016.

The 12-night tour, departing Jan. 16, is priced from $6,400 per rider, double, and covers full board, all meals, taxes and gratuities and provisions of two humanitarian programs: the Sanitation Program, in which riders will help dig a well and build a bathroom for an impoverished school, and the Eye and Dentistry Program, which will provide up to 50 free eye surgeries and 400 dental treatments in the village of Alniyawas near Pushkar.

Limited to 15 guests, all riders will have use of their own 500cc Royal Enfield Motorcycle during the 1,118-mile trip through Rajasthan state. For nonriders, Relief Riders can make arrangements for guests to ride alongside the bikers in the support Jeep. In addition to the humanitarian programs, highlights of the itinerary include visits to Harasar Fort, Kumbhalgarh Fort, Sardarsamand Palace, Lal Niwas Palace and Junagarh Fort and a ride through Tall Chapper Sanctuary.
