Zicasso 'Lord of the Rings' tour spends 10 nights in New Zealand

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the publication of "The Lord of the Rings," Zicasso has crafted a private, 10-night journey to New Zealand, where the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit films were filmed. Highlights include a helicopter tour to filming locations and special access to movie costumes and props in Queenstown; a full-day tour in Wellington, including a helicopter ride and lunch at a winery; an after-hours tour of the Weta Workshop in Miramar, where artists conceptualized the creatures and props for the films; and a behind-the-scenes tour of the Hobbiton set in Rotorua. Pricing starts at $7,000 per person, double, and includes 10 nights of luxury accommodations, three lunches and 11 days of car rental. Flights are not included.
