An excellent opportunity for Hawaii visitors to soak in some international and Hawaiian culture, the 17th annual Honolulu Festival will run March 11 to 13 this year.

Loaded with free events, workshops, cultural art demonstrations and performances, the three-day festival features exhibitions by delegations from Japan, China, Taiwan, Korea, the Philippines, Australia, Tahiti, Alaska, and, of course, Hawaii.

Organizers are planning for more than 5,000 performers this year.

Spread across a range of venues throughout the heart of Honolulu, the festival’s events will conclude with a grand parade in Waikiki on March 13 followed by a fireworks display later that evening on Waikiki beach.
