After more than three months, the Ala Moana Hotel, located about a mile outside of Waikiki, has completed a multimillion-dollar refurbishment to all of its guestrooms.

Improvements in the property’s 1,176 rooms include new carpet, drapes, chairs, bedding and pillows along with new sofa sleepers.

“We designed each space to incorporate a modern style with island flavor that reflects the urban vibe of our location in Honolulu, while still maintaining a serene ambience,” Bill Comstock, the property’s general manager, said in a statement.

A five-minute walk from the Hawaii Convention Center or gorgeous Ala Moana Beach Park, the Ala Moana Hotel sits right next to Ala Moana Center, Hawaii’s largest shopping mall, home to over 300 shops and restaurants.
