Alaska Airlines debuts Wash.-Honolulu flight

Alaska Airlines began service from Bellingham, Wash., to Honolulu on Jan. 7.

"We are committed to offering low fares and our award-winning customer service to Hawaii from more points on the West Coast," Joe Sprague, Alaska Airlines' vice president of marketing, said in a statement. "The convenience of using the Bellingham Airport makes this an incredibly attractive offer for our customers in Northwest Washington and the Lower Mainland."

Alaska is operating the daily, nonstop service onboard Boeing 737-800 aircraft equipped with 16 first-class seats and 141 economy seats.
