Allegiant Air increased its service between Honolulu and Fresno’s Yosemite Airport to a second weekly flight June 17.

The biweekly service will continue through the middle of August, when the route will go on a “seasonal hiatus due to low demand for fall travel to Hawaii,” an Allegiant spokesperson said.

Earlier this year, Allegiant said it will place seven of the 10 flights it currently operates between the U.S. West Coast and Hawaii on seasonal hiatus this fall due to a decrease in demand.
