Longtime Hawaii tourism executive Shari Chang has left her role as senior vice president of sales and marketing at Aston Hotels & Resorts to become the CEO for Girl Scouts of Hawaii.
A former senior vice president at Aloha Airlines, Chang has more than 30 years of hospitality marketing experience and spent the last eight years leading the sales, revenue management strategies and marketing efforts at Hawaii-based Aston Hotels & Resorts.
“Shari is a highly recognized marketer in Hawaii, instrumental in the vision and creative development driving numerous high-profile and award-winning marketing campaigns,” Lori Lum, the Girl Scouts of Hawaii board chair, said in a statement. “Her community involvement both as a volunteer and a professional will be a big asset for Girl Scouts of Hawaii.”
Prior to her time working for Aston and Aloha Airlines, Chang served as vice president of marketing and communications for Aloha United Way.
