Aston Hotels & Resorts has taken over management at the Hotel Renew in Waikiki, rebranding the 72-room boutique hotel as the Hotel Renew by Aston.
“Adding a luxury boutique hotel to the Aston collection of hotels and resorts allows us to serve guests looking for an intimate getaway with all of the shopping, dining and activity conveniences of Waikiki at their doorstep,” Kelvin Bloom, president of Aston Hotels & Resorts, said in a statement.
The Hotel Renew, which opened in 2008 featuring concepts by acclaimed San Francisco designer Jiun Ho, pushes Aston’s Waikiki property count to eight and features two resort pools, a Hawaiian-themed boutique spa and a full-service fitness facility.
Hotel amenities include PlayStation 3 Blu-Ray consoles with unlimited movies and video games, WiFi, weekly cocktail mixers and complimentary beach gear.
Honolulu-based Aston Hotels & Resorts manages 27 properties on the four major Hawaiian Islands; South Lake Tahoe, Calif.; and Lake Las Vegas, Nev.
