The Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum's Hi-Sci Festival, an annual celebration of all things science, includes a packed schedule of events through the month of March.

There are planetarium programs, science talks at a college bar, and daily children's events at the museum during spring break.

The Hi-Sci Festival culminates in Discovery Day at Bishop Museum on March 17. The event features reduced admission and engaging presentations and activities from Bishop Museum researchers and more than 30 partner organizations.

Attendees can view natural science collection items, learn about the environment and meet community partners who regularly work with the museum to study and protect Hawaii's natural resources. Bishop Museum's botany department will have a plant observations activity in the Native Garden and the entomology team will showcase rarely seen insects.
