Four Seasons Hualalai spa incorporates native plants and minerals

Four Seasons Resort Hualalai on the Big Island will launch a new spa experience this month grounded in Hawaiian healing practices.

The healing qualities of native plant and mineral resources will be used in signature treatments, and a new apothecary will custom-blend products.

Early next year, there will be complimentary pre-treatment spa rituals in the new Waiea (Water of Life) Garden, new couples' traditional Hawaiian accommodations with private plunge pool, and a new pre- and post-relaxation area will be added.

The new Hualalai Spa director is Karen Cosgrove.
