Interisland carrier Go Mokulele transported 53,974 passengers in February, a 6.3% increase over its total during the same month last year.

“Significant increases in both load factor and traffic demonstrate the Hawaii market is improving,” said Jonathan Ornstein, CEO of parent company Mesa Air Group. “As we continue to manage capacity to meet demand, we remain committed to helping Hawaii tourism and business grow.”

Go Mokulele’s load factor was 76.1% in February, up nearly 6% year over year. Revenue producing miles also grew, climbing about 4.7% compared with the same period in 2010.
