The Hawaii Tourism Authority (HTA) has scheduled its Hawaii Tourism Conference for Aug. 28 and 29.
Held annually at the Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu, the two-day event features presentations and panel discussions with industry experts covering airlift, accommodations, the economy and visitor experience.
The HTA’s global marketing partners, including the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau, which manages North American marketing for the Hawaiian Islands, will also present their 2015 plans.
The annual conference also includes a marketplace gathering, enabling travel and tourism professionals to meet with Hawaii vendors showcasing their programs and products.
Aaron Sala, an assistant professor of Hawaiian music and ethnomusicology at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, will deliver the event’s keynote presentation.
