Hawaii Superferry has dismissed Terry O'Halloran, director of business development, and Duane Kim, manager of Maui operations.

A Superferry spokesperson said the company "made some realignments ... in the port, maintenance and engineering, and business development areas that affected a small number of people."

The firings come as Tom Fargo, Superferry's president and CEO since April, gathers his own team. Fargo replaced John Garibaldi, who is now vice chairman.

In a separate Superferry development, the company is offering military personnel and their dependents a free roundtrip with the purchase of one roundtrip fare.

The offer applies to all members of the U.S. Armed Forces and is available for travel booked through Dec. 15.

Military personnel and their dependents will receive Superferry's $10 military discount when purchasing the first roundtrip.
