Hawaiian Airlines transported 707,203 passengers in October, an increase of 1% when compared with the same month last year.


The company’s load factor dipped during the month, however, dropping 2.5 percentage points year over year, to 84.8%, according to figures released by the airline Nov. 4.

Hawaiian’s revenue-producing miles flown in October increased dramatically over last year, jumping 16.5%, to more than 860 million.

Year to date through October, the airline has transported 7.2 million passengers, up 2.7% from the same period in 2010, while its load factor fell 1.1 percentage point, to 84.5%.
