Hawaiian Airlines adds fuel surcharge

Hawaiian Airlines increased the cost of its transpacific flights by $10 each way on Dec. 22 due to increasing fuel costs.

Rates for interisland flights, however, have not yet been affected.

Hawaiian spokesman Keoni Wagner told Pacific Business News on Dec. 29 that the cost of fuel has reached a two-year high for the carrier.
