Hawaiian Airlines has named Shannon Okinaka senior vice president and interim CFO effective Jan. 14, following the departure of former CFO Scott Topping.

Topping had served as Hawaiian’s CFO and treasurer since 2011.

“We appreciate Scott’s significant contributions to our company over the last three years and we wish him well,” Mark Dunkerley, Hawaiian’s president and CEO, said in a statement. “At the same time, we look forward to the contributions Shannon will bring as we execute on our expansion strategy.”

Okinaka joined Hawaiian Airlines in 2005, serving most recently as vice president-controller for the carrier. She grew up in Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii, graduated from the University of Hawaii at Monoa on Oahu and worked for Hawaiian Electric before joining Hawaiian Airlines.
