The carrier’s revenue-producing miles were also up sharply during the month, jumping 21.8% year over year, to more than 990 million, according to figures released by Hawaiian March 7.

The company’s load factors dropped, however, slipping 1.9 percentage points, to 81% in February.

Through the first two months of 2013, Hawaiian has transported more than 1.5 million passengers, up 7%, while posting a load factor of 80.8%, off 2.4% from the same period in 2012.
