Hawaiian Airlines transported more than 856,000 passengers in May, an increase of 2.4% over the same month last year.

The carrier saw its load factor decrease, however, slipping just over 1 percentage point year over year, to 79.1%.

Revenue producing miles were essentially unchanged in May, growing by less than 1%, to 1.14 billion.

Through the first five months of 2014, Hawaiian has transported just over 4 million passengers, up 1% over the same period a year ago, while its load factor has dipped 1 percentage point, to just over 79%, year to date through May.
